The Faithfull Hickory Shaft Log Splitting Maul is a heavy-duty, traditional log splitting maul designed to split logs quickly and efficiently. It has a quality drop forged head and is fitted with a hickory handle; chosen because it is dense, durable and has great shock absorption properties. It also features the added protection of an overstrike collar. This maul may also be used as a hammer for driving a wedge into oversized or difficult logs. The head weight is 3.6kg and the shaft length is 82cm.
